PlayTrek Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PlayTrek (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use PlayTrek Dash on the web at https://playtrek.in, as a Progressive Web App (PWA), or as the Android application published on Google Play (package ID: com.playtrek.game).

1. Who we are

PlayTrek Dash is a free endless-runner game. For privacy questions, contact us at support@playtrek.in.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you play, we may process the following categories of information:

• Gameplay and progress data — scores, coins, distance, level, unlocks, settings, missions, and achievements. On the website and PWA this is stored mainly in your device browser (for example, local storage). In the Android app, similar progress may be stored on-device within the app WebView.
• Optional profile details — display name or avatar you choose in-game. We do not require a real name to play.
• Technical and device information — approximate device type, OS version, app version, browser type, crash or performance signals, and basic diagnostics needed to keep the game running.
• Advertising identifiers — on Android, Google advertising ID (AD_ID) and related ad signals may be used by Google AdMob to show and measure ads, subject to your device ad settings and applicable consent rules.
• Network information — IP address and standard request metadata may be processed by our hosting providers, CDN, or ad partners when you load the game or ads.
• Optional cloud account data — if you later connect an account or sync features (for example via Firebase Auth / Firestore), we may store account identifiers and synced progress needed to provide that feature.

3. How we use information

• Operate, maintain, and improve PlayTrek Dash
• Save progress, unlocks, settings, and local leaderboards
• Show advertisements (including banner and rewarded ads) and measure ad performance
• Provide continue / reward features when you choose to watch an ad
• Detect abuse, cheating, or security issues
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with law and Google Play / platform policies

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Android app uses Google AdMob to display ads, including:

• Banner ads during gameplay
• Rewarded video ads (for example “watch ad to continue”)

Google and its partners may collect and process device identifiers, IP address, ad interaction data, and similar information to provide personalized or non-personalized ads, fraud prevention, and analytics. Where required (for example under GDPR / Google’s User Messaging Platform), we may show a consent form before requesting personalized ads.

You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (for example Android Settings → Google → Ads) and, where available, through in-app consent choices.

5. Third-party services

We may use trusted third parties to run the game and ads, such as:

• Google Play / Google Play Services (distribution and device services)
• Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK (advertising)
• Hosting / CDN providers for playtrek.in
• Firebase (optional analytics, auth, or cloud sync if enabled)

These providers process data under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Permissions (Android)

The Android app may request or use permissions such as:

• Internet / network access — to load the game, updates, and ads
• Advertising ID (AD_ID) — for ad serving and measurement

7. Data retention and deletion

Local gameplay progress remains on your device until you clear browser/app storage, uninstall the app, or use an in-game reset (if available). Ad and analytics data retained by Google is governed by Google’s retention practices. To request deletion of any account or cloud data we hold (if you used optional cloud features), email support@playtrek.in with enough detail for us to locate your request.

8. Children’s privacy

PlayTrek Dash is a general-audience casual game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of selling it. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Parents and guardians should review device ad settings and Google Play family controls. Ad experiences may be limited based on regional rules and consent.

9. International transfers

Because we use global providers (including Google), information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those providers apply contractual and technical safeguards required by applicable law.

10. Your choices

• Clear local game data from browser settings or by uninstalling the Android app
• Reset or limit advertising ID in Android system settings
• Respond to consent prompts where shown
• Contact us to ask questions or request deletion of cloud-held data

11. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Keep your device updated and avoid unofficial APKs.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the game, ads, or laws change. The “Effective date” above will be revised when we do. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
